URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT NOON CST TODAY...

Locally dense fog may continue into the early afternoon hours

across portions of the I-35 corridor, however conditions have been

improving across much of south central Texas and this trend is

expected to continue through the afternoon.

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southern Harrison,

northern Panola and northeastern Rusk Counties through 1230 PM CST...

At 1200 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Tatum, or 15 miles southwest of Marshall, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...

Marshall, Waskom, Tatum, Beckville, Deberry, Elysian Fields, Easton,

Scottsville, Jonesville, Darco and Leigh.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to

localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe

shelter inside a building or vehicle.
