Future UConn women\u2019s basketball players Ayanna Patterson and Isuneh \u201cIce\u201d Brady were named to the prestigious McDonald\u2019s All-American Game Tuesday. The game is scheduled to be played March 29 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, although McDonald\u2019s said in a statement that it\u2019s \u201cclosely monitoring COVID-19 and consulting with medical experts. The game has been canceled the past two years because of the pandemic. Patterson and Brady are ranked fourth and fifth on espnW\u2019s Class of 2022 rankings. The 6-foot-2 Patterson, who is from Indiana, will play for the East. Brady (6-3, from San Diego) will be on the West roster. Patterson is averaging around 25 points and 12 rebounds for Homestead High, the No. 1 team in Indiana. She committed to UConn in March 2021. Brady, averaging around 19 points and 12 rebounds for Cathedral Catholic, committed to UConn in December 2019.
