The Connecticut Home & Remodeling Show is coming to Hartford's Connecticut Convention Center March 3 through March 5.

Per the show's website, the exhibition of retailers, products and home tips is the state's largest and longest-running home show. The event is set to feature local vendors offering products and services for both the home and yard.

Vendor specialities range from in-home audio and video services, flooring solutions, fireplace products and tilling installation, to name a few. The full list of vendors and exhibitors can be found on the Connecticut Home Show website.

In addition to vendors, the Connecticut Home show will hold live seminars at its Design Café, where attendees can hear live from experts teaching courses like "Regenerate, Rejuvenate, Redo with Re-Bath" or "The Future of HVAC...Here Today!" The schedule for the Design Café can be found here.

The Connecticut Home Show also holds an annual Student Design Contest, for which local high schoolers can submit a scale model of a home for the chance to win a $1,000 cash prize and a $1,500 scholarship to put toward continued education in the home and design fields. This year, students were asked to design a three-bedroom house.

Admission to the Connecticut Home Show is $12 for those ages 17 and older, $9 for senior admission (ages 65 and up) and free for children 16 and under as well as those with a valid military ID. Tickets can be purchased online ahead of the show. Purchasing a ticket to the Connecticut Home Show grants admission to all three days of the event.
