Jody Cortes/Getty ImagesMay the 4th, also known as "Star Wars Day," is the day where fans of the franchise annually celebrate the galaxy far, far away. This year in Connecticut several bars and libraries are hosting events to let fans dress up and test their knowledge of the universe.
Even Governor Ned Lamont shared a message celebrating the day on Twitter.
Here are some of the Star Wars-themed events around the state:

School buses brought about 1,000 Hartford area high school students to Rentschler Field Monday for COVID-19 vaccinations administered by Middletown-based Community Health Center Inc. The Hartford Yard Goats are inviting guests to come to the Dunkin' Donuts Park, meet some of their favorite Star Wars characters and participate in "Jedi Training."

East Rock Brewing Company is hosting a free trivia night.
The Brewery says that guests are encouraged to come dressed up and staff members will be handing out Star Wars goodies throughout the night.

The tavern is aiming to gather its patrons together and test their knowledge of "a galaxy far, far away" on Wednesday night.

Chéz Ernie's Cafe in Darien.
Chéz Ernie's Cafe is inviting guests to come decked out in their best Star Wars gear on Wednesday night.

Bill Memorial Library in Groton.
The library is giving guests a Star Wars activity packet and Chewbacca paper bag puppet kit, according to its website.

Silas Bronson Library on 267 Grand St.
Mister C will be telling a story and hosting a free enviromagic show "that is out of this world" at the Silas Bronson Library.

Lutz Children’s Museum in Manchester
The museum is hosting a "day of Star Wars family fun," which includes crafts, games and photo opportunities, according to its website.
The museum also encourages dressing up, as the first 25 children (ages 11 and under) who come in costume will receive a gift certificate for free admission.
