The Wilton Little League 11\/12-year-old All-Star team bowed out of the District 1 tournament with a 7-5 playoff loss to Stamford American on Tuesday evening at Scalzi Park in Stamford. It was the second loss in two days for Wilton following a 6-3 defeat to North Stamford on Monday. That setback sent Wilton to the losers' bracket in the double-elimination tournament. Stamford American scored two runs in the first inning and five more in the second to take a 7-0 lead. Wilton, which was playing its fourth game in four days, gradually came back, getting single runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings and two final runs in the sixth. Michael Angerame hit a solo homer for Wilton in the third inning. Dean DiNanno came on in relief for Wilton in the third\u00a0inning and held Stamford American scoreless the rest of the game.
