Strong showing for Y gymnasts at league meet

Mother Nature inserted herself in the Southern Connecticut YMCA Gymnastics League Championships.

Twice.

The Wilton Family Y hosted the championship meet on March 11, but only the first three sessions could be completed before safety concerns sent everyone home in heavy snow. Makeup sessions were then scheduled for March 20 and 21st at the team’s practice facility, and gymnasts from the Wilton, Westport, Trumbull, Darien and Rye teams once again proved their tenacity by competing even though snow concerns were once again in play.
