Wrestling: Warriors top Stamford to stay unbeaten

The Wilton High wrestling team remained undefeated on the season with a 44-33 win at Stamford on Wednesday.

The Warriors (2-0) got pins from Finn McGovern, Trey Harris, Nick Rende and Ethan Helman, while Travis Longo won by technical fall and Stephen Kendra won by decision. Max Mannino and Zach Zeyher both won by forfeit.

Helman had the quickest pin, needing only 35 seconds to win his match at 285 points.

At 160 pounds, Seth Warren dropped a tough 11-10 decision.
