The Wilton High wrestling team finished ninth at the Fairfield Warde Invitational meet Saturday in Fairfield.
The Warriors had 66 points to edge 10th-place Brien McMahon by two points.
Three Wilton wrestlers advanced to the championship match in their respective divisions before losing and placing second. The runner-up finishes came from Andrew Sakamoto at 152 pounds, Dan Holland at 182 pounds and Joe Fraccaroli at 285 pounds.
Fairfield Warde was first in the 16-team field with 220 points. Simsbury finished second with 181 points.
