Three Wilton pitchers combined on a no-hitter as the Warriors routed Harding-Bridgeport, 25-0, in an FCIAC baseball game Thursday in Wilton.
Starter Alex Ellenthal and relievers Trevor Blond and Dillon Lifrieri combined to hold Harding hitless while striking out 15 batters and walking none. Harding's lone baserunner reached on a passed ball after striking out in the top of the seventh inning.
Ellenthal (1-0) went the first four innings and got the victory. He struck out nine batters.
The Warriors batted around in four of their six at-bats. Wilton scored six runs in the first inning, five in the second, and six in the third to open an early 17-0 lead.
Wilton collected 19 hits and was the beneficiary of 10 walks issued by Harding pitchers.
The Warriors raised their record to 12-2 with the triumph, while Harding fell to 2-13.
