The Wilton hockey community will celebrate 42 years of Wilton High School hockey on Friday, Nov. 29, when past, present and future players take to the ice at the Winter Garden Arena in Ridgefield as the Wilton High School Hockey Club hosts Wilton Hockey Homecoming 2013.

This family-friendly event, which starts at 10 a.m., features Wilton High alumni players, the introduction of the 2013-2014 varsity team players, and the Warriors of the future: Youth hockey players who hope to one day skate for the high school team. Those players are Wilton boys and girls currently playing hockey in USA Hockey programs around Fairfield County.

The 2013-2014 Wilton High squad is coached by Brett Amero, assisted by WHS graduate Kyle Shouvlin and Kevin Turbert. For the 35th year, the junior varsity team will be coached by WHS graduate Paul Schluntz.

Tickets for Wilton Hockey Homecoming 2013 are $5 for adults and $3 for students and children. All proceeds benefit Wilton High School hockey.

Wilton High hockey alums who would like to participate in the event should visit wiltonhockey.com for more information or contact Angela Cullinan (203-948-6591, accullinan@gmail.com).
