The Wilton High girls basketball team traveled to Stamford on Tuesday night to face the Trinity Catholic Crusaders and came away with a 60-35 win over the hosts.
The victory was the eighth straight for the Warriors, who are now 8-1 this season.
Wilton easily handled Trinity, building a 15-3 lead at the end of the first quarter — a lead that grew to 32-11 by halftime.
The Warriors were led by Erin Cunningham, who finished with 14 points. Erica Meyer and Haley English had seven points each, and Karen Brosko, Hannah Maatallah and Hana Previte added six points apiece.
Brosko led the team with nine rebounds, followed by Meyer with seven boards. English picked up nine steals.
Wilton returns home to face Staples this Friday night at the Zeoli Field House. The tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
