After allowing a goal late in the first half, the Wilton High boys soccer team got a goal of its own late in the second half to tie Westhill, 1-1, on Thursday in Stamford.

The host Vikings took a 1-0 lead with 1.5 seconds left in the first half, scoring off a free kick on which Wilton did all it could to delay the play.

Wilton came out in the second half and took control of the action and got the equalizer with five minutes to play. Wilton's goal was scored by Patrick Prinner, assisted by Matt Przybysz and Chauncey Allers. Prinner was pulled up into the offensive zone to put pressure on the Vikings.

Will DeSantis came up big in goal for the Warriors, stopping three Westhill breakaways.

Wilton’s record  now stands at 8-3-3, with two games remaining in the regular season (Monday at Trumbull and Wednesday at Fairfield Warde). The tie runs the Warriors' unbeaten streak to six games.
