Wilton baseball team now .500 after beating Central

Winning its third game in five days, the Wilton High baseball team reached the .500 mark by beating Bridgeport Central, 8-2, on Friday night in Wilton.

Three Wilton pitchers combined on a no-hitter in the victory, which evened the Warriors' record at 6-6.

JT Morin (3-2) pitched five scoreless innings, walking two and striking out 11. Central got both its runs — without benefit of a hit — against Wilton reliever Ethan Segall, who pitched two-thirds of an inning. Jack Seneff pitched the final one and one-third innings for the Warriors.

Harry Sabo paced Witlon's 14-hit attack by going 3-for-3 with two runs scored. Scott Shouvlin was 2-for-4 and drove in two runs.
