Watch: Wilton championship highlights

Here are some video highlights and interviews from Friday night's thrilling FCIAC baseball championship, won by the Wilton Warriors, 1-0, over the Staples Wreckers in extra innings.

The championship — and all three games Wilton played in the tournament — was carried live by the HAN Network, the Wilton Bulletin's multimedia partner. You can watch the entire championship game at this link, the semifinals game against Darien is at this link, and the quarterfinals game against Norwalk is at this link.

We'll have some more highlights from the game later this weekend. You can read more about the game here.

Starting pitcher J.T. Morin, who had pitched a complete game and thrown 137 pitches in Wilton’s 6-1 quarterfinal win over Norwalk on Tuesday, threw a complete game two-hitter, striking out 12 and walking two.
In his two FCIAC playoff games, Morin pitched 15 innings, allowed no earned runs, and struck out 26 batters. Fittingly, he was named the Most Valuable Player of the conference playoffs. Here he is talking with HAN Radio's Rob Adams:

After seven scoreless innings, the game went to extra innings. Wilton broke through quickly, as James Meany singled with two outs in the top of eighth, stole second, and then scored on Jackson Ward’s RBI single on a 3-2 count. Ward talked with Adams after the game:
