Before the FCIAC wrestling championships matches, the consolation matches were held to finalize the rankings in each weight class. Here are the results from the tournament, held at New Canaan High School, on Saturday, Feb. 14.
The losing grapplers from Friday's opening round wrestle for fifth place in the class. The losing grapplers from Saturday's semifinals wrestle for third place and a medal.
Finn McGovern of Wilton won his semifinal FCIAC wrestling match in the 99-pound class. He will compete for the championship Saturday afternoon.
