Stamford deals Wilton boys soccer a third straight loss

The Wilton High boys soccer team suffered its third consecutive loss on Wednesday, falling to host Stamford, 2-1.

Wilton, which was unbeaten through its first seven games, is now 5-3-2.

Stamford (5-5-1) took an early 2-0 lead and carried the advantage into the halftime break.

Jack Brandt’s goal in the closing minutes of the game brought Wilton to within 2-1, but the Warriors couldn’t get the equalizer.

Will DeSantis was in goal for the Warriors and came up with eight saves.
