The Wilton High softball team opened the 2018 season on Saturday with a 6-1 loss at home to Enfield.

Sophia Strazza and Hannah Belanger led the Warriors offensively. Strazza went 2-for-4 at the plate and Belanger was 1-for-2 with a walk and a sacrifice, and scored Wilton's only run. Kate Shouvlin went 1-for-4 at the plate with an RBI, driving in Belanger.

Shouvlin took the loss on the mound, allowing three earned runs, and Claire Wilson had four strikeouts and allowed one run in three innings of relief.
