Masuk tops Wilton boys hockey team, 3-1

Masuk scored two unanswered goals in the third period to defeat the Wilton High boys hockey team, 3-1, in a non-conference game Saturday night in Shelton.

Ned Zawislak had the only goal for the Warriors, off an assist from Alec Biegen, in the second period.

Cole Butkovsky, Brian Denham and Joe Damota each scored one goal for Masuk, which improved to 2-1.

Wilton goalie Derek Prario made 21 saves, as the Warriors were out-shot, 24-17.

The Warriors, who fell to 0-3-2 with the loss, return to the ice on Monday night against Watertown-Pomperaug in a game that was postponed last Thursday.
