The Wilton High gymnastics team hosted Darien on Tuesday, scoring just under its season average with a team score of 130.8.

The Blue Wave won the meet with a score of 132.6.

For the Warriors (2-4), Morgan Leddy led the way on beam and floor, with a season-best 8.6 on floor and an 8.4 on beam.

On bars, Riley Wadehra had a season-best 8.3 to lead Wilton. Sam Fahri also had a season-best score (8.1), while Alex Uriarte tied her best score with an 8.2. Alyssa Jarrett was the team’s fourth scorer with an 8.0.

Uriarte was Wilton’s second scorer on beam (8.25), followed by Jarrett (season-best 8.0) and Brooke Taffler (season-best 7.75).

On floor, Uriarte was again second on the team with an 8.3, while Rebecca Poirier and Nicki Babkowski both scored 7.8s to round out the scoring.

The vault was led by Babkowski’s 8.6, followed by Poirier (8.35), Uriarte (8.2) and Wadehra (8.15).

Uriarte finished with an all-around score of 32.95, which was just off her season high of 33.2.

Wilton surpassed its season average going in in beam, with a 32.4 that was more than a half-point improvement over the average.

On bars, the Warriors’ score of 32.6 was more than six-tenths of a point above their average.

The vault score saw a slight dip, while the floor score of 32.5 was a point under the team’s season average.

Wilton’s team score of 130.8 was the team’s third best of the season, but dropped the Warriors’ season average by fourth-tenths of a point to 131.12.
