Girls tennis: Warriors fall to Cards in FCIAC quarterfinals, 4-3

The Wilton High girls tennis team suffered a tough loss to Greenwich in the FCIAC quarterfinals on Wednesday, with the third-seeded Cardinals pulling out a 4-3 win in Greenwich.

The sixth-seeded Warriors got wins at first singles from Maddi Stow, at first doubles from Kaitlyn Zheng and Taylor Ingerman, and at third doubles from Leigh Culnane and Emma Stow, who rallied from a set down to win in three sets.

Next up for the Warriors (13-4) are the Class M state playoffs, which begin on June 5. Wilton is the defending Class M champ.
