The Wilton High girls lacrosse team will play for the Class M state championship this Saturday, after the Warriors defeated second-seeded East Lyme, 12-7, on Tuesday night in the semifinals in West Haven.

The sixth-seeded Warriors (15-5) will take on FCIAC rival and top-seeded New Canaan at 2 p.m. at Bunnell High School in Stratford. The two teams met in the finals last year, with the Rams prevailing, 17-9.
