Girls lacrosse: Helms leads WHS past Glastonbury

Tegan Helms scored five goals and Annie Cornbrooks scored three goals to lead the Wilton High girls lacrosse team to an 11-8 win over Glastonbury on Thursday at Lilly Field.

It was the first loss of the season for Glastonbury, which dropped to 10-1.

The Warriors (11-4) also got two goals from Kat Vincent and one goal from Shannon Quinlan. Laura Knapp had a pair of assists and Makenna Pearsall had one assist.

Hannah Wiltshire had a solid game with 12 saves from 22 shots on goal.
