Jess Hendry scored four goals as the Wilton High field hockey team rolled to an 8-0 win over St. Joseph on Tuesday at home.

The Warriors improved to 6-1 in the FCIAC and 6-2-0-1 overall.

In was the third lopsided win in eight days for Wilton, which outscored the three opponents by a combined 19-0. Hendry has scored eight goals over those three games, and now has 11 on the season.

Emma Rothkopf had two goals, with single tallies from Olivia Hahn and Adriana Curtis. Sophia Kaplan had three assists.

The Warriors needed only 53 seconds to take the lead, with Hahn scoring after passes by Hendry and Kaplan.

Two more goals made it 3-0 less than four minutes into the game. Rothkopf scored in front off another feed by Kaplan, and Hendry blasted a 15-yard shot from 15 yards out into the top left corner of the cage.

Another long blast by Hendry from the right arc made it 4-0 just over seven minutes into the game.

In the second half, Wilton got goals by Hendry (Kaplan assist) at 27:03, Rothkopf (Molly Thomas assist) at 18:12, Curtis at 3:11, and Hendry at 2:41 to close out the scoring.
