Wilton High School varsity boys soccer players Will DeSantis (left) and Jack Brandt (right), shown with WHS head coach Jim Lewicki, were honored at the Connecticut Soccer Coaches Association annual banquet, held on Jan. 25 at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington. DeSantis, the Warriors’ goalkeeper for the past two seasons, was awarded MVP at the Region 4 Senior Bowl due to his outstanding performance in goal on Nov. 16. Brandt, a junior and two-year starter in the midfield, was awarded all-state accolades for his solid performance during the 2014 season, finishing with eight goals and 11 assists.
