Danbury cools off Wilton baseball team, 4-3

The Wilton High baseball team saw its eight-game winning streak end with a 4-3 loss to host Danbury on Monday afternoon.

It was just the second loss this season for the Warriors, who are now 10-2 overall.

JT Morin pitched five innings for Wilton, striking out 12 batters. Sean McEwen came on in relief and struck out two Danbury batters in his two innings of work.

George Bielizna had a two-run double for Danbury (5-8) in the bottom of the first inning. The Hatters added single runs in the third and fifth innings, with the final run scoring on an error with the bases loaded.

Alex Jacobson had a home run for Wilton, which was held to four hits.
