Morgan McCormick won for the third time in three races as the Wilton High girls cross country swept four FCIAC opponents on Tuesday at Waveny Park in New Canaan.

The Warriors (7-0) pulled out tight wins over Staples (26-30) and New Canaan (25-30), along with wins over Stamford (21-40) and Trinity Catholic (15-50).

McCormick was the overall winner in the 4000-meter race in a time of 15:33.46, beating the second-place finisher, Susie Martin of Staples, by more than 30 seconds.

Elizabeth Lynch finished sixth overall in 16:42.23, followed by Emily Welch (10th, 16:49.18), Elizabeth Healy (12th,17:01.79) and Carly Sullivan (13th, 17:04.43) to round out Wilton's top five.

The Wilton boys achieved a split, defeating Stamford (20-38) and Trinity (15-50) but falling to New Canaan (20-40) and Staples (15-50). The Warriors (3-4) were led by Connor Drake, who was ninth overall in a time of 17:59.99 for the 5000-meter race.
