Taking the top-four spots overall, and placing all its five scoring runners in the top 11, the Wilton High girls cross country team swept four opponents on Tuesday in Trumbull.

The Warriors got victories over Stamford, 16-47, Harding, 15-50, Danbury, 17-44, and host Trumbull, 18-39.

Senior Sarah Healy paced Wilton with a first-place overall finish in a time of 18:27 for the 2.9-mile course.

Teammates Mary Lynch (18:36), Olivia Bernardini (19:01) and Keiley Gaston (19:30) were second, third and fourth, respectively.

Kate Williams completed the Wilton scoring with an 11th-place finish in a time of 20:32.

Two other Warriors were also in the top 15, as Maddie Murphy (20:35) finished 13th and Meghan Downey (20:36) was 14th.

Split for boys

Despite a first-place overall finish from junior Spencer Brown, the Wilton High boys team split its four meets Tuesday.

Wilton defeated Stamford, 26-33, and Harding, 15-50, but lost to Trumbull, 25-33, and Danbury, 20-41.

Brown had a time of 15:44 over the 2.9 miles, beating runner-up Ryan Fox of Danbury by 25 seconds.

Wilton’s second finisher was Justin Hoelzl, who placed ninth overall in 16:32.

Nathan Briglin (23rd, 17:08), Kristian Langholm (25th, 17:09) and Will Hoffman (33rd, 17:39) also factored in Wilton’s team score.

Teammate Nick DiCorato was 34th in a time of 17:39.
