The Wilton High boys tennis team closed out the regular season with its fifth straight win on Monday, defeating Fairfield Ludlowe at home, 5-2.

The victory earned the Warriors the seventh seed in the FCIAC tournament, which opens on Thursday with the quarterfinals. Wilton (10-7) will travel to Greenwich to take on the second-seeded Cardinals (15-1).

In Monday’s win, Wilton got straight-set wins from singles players Jay Cassone, Quentin Thouvenot and Conrad Emerosn, and the doubles tandems of Owen McKessy and Henry Murphy, and Clay Adams and Harrison Tucker.
