Ridgefield outscored the Wilton High boys swimming team 48-32 over the final four events to pull away for a 96-84 win on Tuesday at the Wilton Family Y.

The Warriors finished the regular season at 4-5. Next up are the FCIAC trials on Feb. 27 at Greenwich High School.

It was the final home meet for Wilton's three senior captains: Jack Lewis, Jackson Dill and Jason Cai.

The Tigers built a 39-23 lead after four events, before Wilton outscored the visitors 29-19 over the next three events, cutting the lead to 58-52. Ridgefield got a 1-3 finished in the 200-yard freestyle relay, and 1-2 finishes in both the 100-yard backstroke and 100-yard breaststroke to extend the lead to 20 points.

Wilton was led by double winner Lewis, who took first in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.

Matt Schaller placed second in both the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle, while Rory Hess was second in the 100 butterfly and third in the 200 IM.

Kevin Hu finished third in both the 500 freestyle and 200 IM, with other third-place finishes by Matt Lamanna (100 butterfly), James Steward (100 freestyle), Ryan Looney (100 backstroke) and Alex Li (100 breaststroke).

Nate Synder placed fourth in both the 100 fly and 100 back, with other fourth places by Li (50 free), Dill (100 free) and Christopher Zhou (100 breast).

In the 200 medley relay, the foursome of Snyder, Lewis, Hess and Dill was second, as was the 200 freestyle relay team of Li, Dill, Steward and Hu.

The Warriors finished 2-3 in the 400 free relay, with Lewis, Looney, Steward and Hu taking second, and Schaller, Snyder, Lamanna and Nathaniel Newcomer placing third.

The Tigers were led by double winners Kieran Smith (100 butterfly, 500 freestyle) and Connor Hunt (200 freestyle, 100 backstroke). Other winners were Luke Hruska (200 IM), and William Bryant (100 breaststroke).

The foursome of Smith, Andrew Bornstein, Hunt and Bryant swam to victory in the 200 medley relay.

In the 200 freestyle relay, the Tigers took first with the team of Hruska, Bryant, Smith and Andrew Yu.

In the 400 free relay, Ridgefield’s winning team was Hunt, Linney O’Malley, Bornstein and Matt Johnston.
