Jack Lewis is in the A finals in two events, and Rory Hess in one event, for today's Class L swim championships at Wesleyan University.

Three other Wilton High boys swimming team members also made it back to tonight's finals with top-24 finishes at last Saturday’s Class L preliminaries at East Hartford High School.

Lewis is in the A finals (top 8) in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events, while Hess made the finals in the 100-yard butterfly.

Lewis finished seventh in the 100 freestyle (49.86) and eighth in the 50 freestyle (22.73) on Saturday.

Hess was sixth in the 100 butterly (54.53) and 18th in the 200 individual medley (2:08.75).

The swim finals, originally scheduled for Tuesday, were moved to today because of Tuesday’s snow.

Dylan Flanagan, Ryan Looney and James Steward also qualified for today's finals.

Looney was 16th in the 200 IM (2:08.21) at prelims to make the B final, and also placed 19th in the 100 backstroke (season-best 58.6) to make the C final.

Flanagan qualified for C finals in two events by finishing 21st in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.34) and 23rd in the 200 IM (2:10.84). His breaststroke time lowered his season-best time by 2.38 seconds, and his time in the 200 IM was a season-best by 1.3 seconds.

Steward took 24th in the 100 butterfly (57.98) and was also 25th in the 50 freestyle (23.75). Both were season-best times.

The Warriors made the A final in the 200 freestyle relay, finishing sixth at prelims with the team of Lewis, Alex Li, Steward and Jackson Dill. Their time of 1:33.42 was a season best by nearly two seconds.

In the 200 medley relay, Wilton was 10th (1:44.58) with the team of Nate Snyder, Lewis, Hess and Dill, while the 400 free relay team of Hess, Looney, Snyder and Stewart also finished 10th (3:31.34).

Dill placed 26th in the 100 free (season-best 52.37) and 33rd in the 50 free (24.12), while Snyder was 27th in the 100 backstroke (1:00.72) and 28th in the 100 butterfly (58.57).

Matthew Lamanna finished 27th in the 100 butterfly (58.51) and 28th in the 500 free with a time of 5:25.5, a season best by 3.29 seconds.

Li was 32nd in the 100 breaststroke (season-best 1:09.98) and 35th in the 50 free (24.62), and Jason Cai was 36th in the 100 breast (1:11.73).
