The Wilton High boys hockey team suffered its third straight loss on Saturday, falling to the Milford Coop team 5-3 at Milford Ice Pavilion.

The Warriors (3-3) were led by Tyler Everitt with two goals and an assist, while John Fung also scored and Lucas Thelen had three assists.

Milford took a 1-0 lead after one period and was up 2-0 in the second period when Everitt got Wilton on the board off Thelen’s assist, making it 2-1 after two periods.

After Milford made it 3-1 early in the third period, Fung scored off assists from Everitt and Fung to cut the lead to 3-2. But the Indians scored back-to-back goals to extend their lead to three goals, 5-2.

Logan Motyka made 18 saves in goals for Wilton, which finished with a 36-23 edge in shots on goal.

Milford, which improved its record to 3-6, was led by Santiago Palacio and Brett Pisani with two goals each.
