In a game in which five players accounted for most of the points, the Wilton High boys basketball team fell to host New Canaan, 65-60, on Friday night.

Both teams are now 1-1.

Matt Shifrin led the Warriors with a game-high 26 points, hitting two three-pointers and sinking eight-of-nine free throws. Eric Houska added 17 points, as he and Shifrin combined for 43 of Wilton's 60 points.

Peter Ciaccio, Mike Bingaman and Scott Shouvlin contributed five points apiece for Wilton.

Claude Chandonnet (23), Erik Jager (16) and Paul Hagopian (15) combined for 54 of New Canaan's 65 points.

The Rams led 32-25 at halftime and 44-39 after three quarters.
