Chauncey Allers found the back of the net four times on Friday to lead the Wilton High boys soccer team to a 6-0 win over Bassick at Kristine Lilly Field.

It took over 10 minutes for the Warriors to get on track against the 1-6-1 Lions, as Bassick possessed the ball more than the home team did at the start of the game. Allers scored his first goal in the 14th minute on a penalty kick after being fouled in the box, putting his spot kick in to the right of the goalie.

The Warrior lead grew to 2-0 when Oliver Quantock’s corner kick found the head of Troy Lamason, who redirected the ball into the net.

Allers closed out the scoring in the first half with his second goal in the 28th minute, assisted by Jack Brandt.

Allers scored twice more in the second half, getting goals in the 43rd and 45th minutes of play. His fourth goal was assisted by Michael Lynch, who set up Allers with a perfect crossing pass through the crease.

TJ Watson capped the scoring with a goal with 1:22 left to play.

Michael Legaz was in goal for Wilton and made three saves for the shutout.
