After upending St. Joseph last Friday at home, the Wilton High boys basketball team almost pulled off another upset Tuesday night on the road. The Warriors gave host Bridgeport Central a battle before falling 59-57. Central is now 5-1 and Wilton is 3-4. Wilton led 26-23 at halftime, but Central rebounded to go ahead 38-37 after three quarters. The hosts then hung on for the win in the final period. Eric Houska led Wilton with 18 points and also grabbed seven rebounds. Matt Shifrin hit four three-pointers and finished with 16 points, and Olandi LeGrand, Max Maudsley and Weston Wilbur added six points apiece. Tyler Ancrum paced three Central players in double figures with 17 points.
