The Wilton High boys swim team finished a distant second to Pomperaug at the Class L state championship meet Tuesday at Wesleyan University in Middletown.
The Warriors had 541 points to edge third-place Darien (539) by two points.
Pomperaug, the defending Class L champion, was first with 772 points.
After winning two events at the FCIAC meet, Wilton's Tommy Kealy repeated the feat at the Class L championship. Kealy finished first in the 50-yard freestyle (21.73) and the 100 butterfly (51.42).
Also placing first in individual events for the Warriors were Mason Molina in the 200 freestyle (1:44.03) and Stephen Holmquist in the 500 freestyle (4:40.23).
Sean Higgins, Molina, Bobby McDowell and Holmquist combined to win the 400 freestyle relay in 3:13.85.
Adding top-three individual finishes were Holmquist (second, 1:44.14) in the 200 freestyle, Higgins (third, 1:57.00) in the 200 individual medley, and Molina (third, 4:47.14) in the 500 freestyle.
McDowell, Max Bloom, Kealy and Higgins were third in the 200 medley relay (1:40.08).
