The Wilton High girls ski team was fourth and the WHS boys fifth at the state championship meet Monday afternoon at Mount Southington.
The Wilton girls had a team time of 297.55 seconds to finish behind Fairfield (287.65), Staples (288.73) and Joel Barlow (289.35) in the nine-team field.
Angele Poirier led the Warriors with a 10th-place overall finish in a two-run combined time of 47.35 seconds.
Teammate Haley Howard was 12th in a time of 47.74.
The Wilton boys had a team time of 289.09 seconds to finish fifth behind Fairfield (281.24), Glastonbury (285.87), Weston (288.30) and Ridgefield (288.54) in a field of 12 squads.
Roger Hueglin was third overall in a time of 45.95 for the Warriors.
Sean Roberts also finished in the top 20 as he was 17th in 47.55.
Notes: Hueglin earned All-State honors while Poirier, Howard and Roberts received All-State honorable mention.
The Wilton boys finished first in the Class S conference during the regular season. The WHS girls were second in Class S.
