The Wilton High boys lacrosse team made quick work of Trinity Catholic on Tuesday afternoon at Fujitani Field, taking down the overmatched visitors, 16-0.

The win moved the Warriors' record to 2-4 on the season.

Wilton had a 7-0 lead after one period and doubled it to 14-0 by halftime. The Warriors slowed the pace in the second half, with the running clock due to the score, and scored one goal each in the third and fourth quarters.

Leading the way for Wilton were Chase Lampert and Jack Armstrong with three goals each, and Brendan Devane, Eric Noonan and Reid Melillo with two goals apiece.

Mike Burns, Nick Wells, Brian Lafond and Roger Hueglin added one goal each, while Ryder Farmakis had four assists and Lampert and Melillo each had two assists.
