The Wilton Little League program is in position for a rare trifecta.

The Wilton 9/10, 10/11, and 11/12 All-Star teams have all reached their respective District 1 tournament finals and will play for titles this weekend.

The 9/10-year-old team will be first in action, playing for the district championship against Norwalk on Friday night at 5:30 at Springdale Field in Stamford.

That game will be followed by the Wilton 11/12-year-olds meeting Stamford National at 7:30 at Springdale. Wilton is the defending district champion in that age division.

And on Saturday, the Wilton 10/11-year-olds will face North Stamford in the district finals at noon at Frank Noto Field in Stamford.

"Needless to say, we are quite proud of our teams and this rare accomplishment of having all three teams reach the finals," said David Liston, the Wilton Little League's communications director.
