Despite four touchdowns from senior running back Mike Burns, the Wilton High football team fell to Trinity Catholic in the teams' Thanksgiving rivalry game Thursday morning in Wilton.

The Warriors ended the season with a 4-6 record.

With the victory, Trinity improved to 8-2 and clinched a berth in the Class S state playoffs.

The Crusaders led 28-18 at halftime and 35-18 after three quarters. Wilton scored first in the fourth quarter on quarterback Brett Phillips' touchdow run, but Trinity's Shawn Brown got his third TD of the gamew to make it 42-25. Burns's fourth touchdown of the game, on a four-yard run, accounted for the final score.

Phillips ran for 158 yards and completed 12 passes for 128 yards. Burns added 147 yards rushing.

Brown and Shaquan Howsie combined for five of Trinity's six touchdowns.
