The Wilton High softball team fell to the Stamford Black Knights, 9-0, on Thursday in Stamford.

The Warriors fell to 2-8 with the loss.

Stamford put runs on the board in the first, second, third, fourth, and sixth innings. Jordan Schepps started on the mound and pitched four innings for Stamford, and Christina Joannou came on in relief.

Colleen Adams was the hitting star for Stamford, going 3-for-3, with two doubles and a home run.

Daria Acosta-Rua pitched a complete game for the Warriors and took the loss. Lizette Roman-Johnston had two hits for Wilton.
