Senior Dani Miskinis, making her first start of the year on the mound for the Wilton High softball team, held Ridgefield to five runs, but the Warriors' offense could plate only two runs of its own, as the hosts  fell to Ridgefield, 5-2, Monday afternoon.

The loss drops the Warriors to 0-3 on the season.

Ridgefield got out to a 3-0 lead in its half of the first inning and Wilton answered with one run in its  half of the inning.

Wilton added its second run in the third inning but did not score again.

Both Wilton runs were driven in by Lizette Roman-Johnston, who was 3-for-3 with two singles and a double. Nicole Amato, who reached base safely three times, scored both runs.

Dana Cohen pitched a complete game for Ridgefield, and Oliva Eltz went 3-for-4 for the Tigers.
