Kealy leads WHS swimmers to third at FCIACs

Two individual victories from junior Tommy Kealy helped the Wilton High boys swim team finish third at the FCIAC championship Thursday in Greenwich.

The Warriors had 275 points to finish behind Greenwich (471 points) and New Canaan (289).

Kealy got his victories in the 50-yard freestyle (21.73) and the 100 butterfly (51.11).

Finishing second for Wilton were Sean Higgins in the 200 individual medley (1:56.90) and Stephen Holmquist in the 500 freestyle (4:39.30).

Holmquist added a third-place finish in the 200 freestyle (1:45.44).

The Warriors were second in the 200 freestyle (1:30.77) and 400 freestyle (3:16.01) relays and third in the 200 medley relay (1:41.77).
