The Wilton  High football team won its homecoming contest Saturday, beating McMahon, 35-21, at Memorial Stadium.

Ahead 27-21' Wilton clinched the game on Mike Burns's touchdown run with 1:02 to play. Brett Phillips threw to Weston Wilbur for the two-point conversion.

A touchdown pass from Phillips to Zach Laurinaitis, Griffin Bender's fumble return for a score, and Burns's TD run gave Wilton a 21-7 halftime lead.

John D'Elisa scored on a touchdown run for Wilton in the third quarter.
