The Wilton High football team finished 19th in the Class L state playoff point rankings.

The Warriors, who ended the season with a 4-6 record, had 530 points.

The top-eight teams in Class L — Daniel Hand, Windsor, Avon, Masuk, Middletown, New Canaan, Fitch, and Platt — advanced to the state playoffs.

Wilton finished the season with a 42-32 loss to Trinity Catholic on Thanksgiving morning. With the victory, Trinity qualified for the Class S state playoffs.

The Warriors were 16th in Class L last year, when they compiled a 6-4 record.
