Darien scored 20 unanswered points in the second half to pull away for a 34-7 victory over the Wilton High football team Friday night in Wilton.

The Warriors dropped to 3-3 with the loss.

Trailing 14-0, Wilton cut the Darien lead in half with under a minute left in the second quarter when Brett Phillips threw a five-yard touchdown pass to Mike Burns. The score was set up by an interception.

But the Warriors were unable to build on that momentum in the second half as Darien took control.

Five different players scored touchdowns for the Blue Wave, which raised its record to 4-2.
