The Wilton High baseball team opened the season with a 14-1 victory over host Bullard Havens in Bridgeport on Wednesday.

Starting pitcher Ethan Segall and four relievers combined on a one-hitter for the Warriors.

Ben Rappaport went 4-for-4 and drove in three runs for the Warriors. Andrew Jacobson added three hits and two RBIs, while Ryan Reuther, Jordan Prince, Scott Shouvlin, Brett Phillips and Alex Jacobson each had two hits.

Segall pitched three innings before giving way to Pat Ryan, who pitched one inning and got the victory for Wilton. JT Morin, Trevor Blond and Jack Senneff also pitched for the Warriors.

Bullard Havens' only run was unearned.
