Wilton High senior righthander Ryan Reuther pitched a no-hitter as the Warriors blanked Weston, 5-0, on Thursday in Wilton.

Reuther, who faced the minimum 21 batters over seven innings, came within one walk - on a 3-2 pitch - of a perfect game. He struck out seven batters.

Wilton's first two runs were unearned. Will Bruschi walked with the bases loaded to force in a run in the second inning, and Hunter Quinn added a sacrifice fly in the third.

The Warriors tacked on three more runs in the bottom of the sixth, as Alex Jacobson, Bruschi and Andrew Jacobson all had RBI doubles.

It was the second win in two days to start the season for Wilton (2-0).
