The comedy of Mel Brooks comes to town as the Wilton Playshop presents Young Frankenstein, a stage adaptation of the hit musical film. Directed by Mat Young with musical direction by Zachary Kampler and choreography by Rachel Schulte, the show will run from Oct. 27 to Nov. 11.

In the stage musical, as in the film, Frederick Frankenstein inherits a castle in Transylvania containing Igor, Inga and Frau Blucher. After discovering the secret entrance to his grandfather's laboratory, Frederick decides to carry on the family experiments and creates a monster of his own.

Memorable tunes including The Transylvania Mania, He Vas My Boyfriend, Please Don’t Touch Me, and Puttin' on the Ritz, round out the action.

Performances: Oct. 27, 28, and Nov 2, 3, 4, 9,10, and 11 at 8 p.m.; Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 at 2 p.m.
