Due to popular demand, Woodcock Nature Center at 56 Deer Run Road will offer a second Nighttime Wonders of the Woods program on Friday, Nov. 18, from 6 to 8:30.

The nature center’s first program scheduled for Nov. 4 is sold out.

Nighttime Wonders of the Woods is an enrichment program for third through sixth graders that allows them to explore the woods of the nature center after dark.

After hiking through the woods, participants will learn what owls and hawk eat by dissecting real owl pellets before ending the night with s’mores by the campfire.

There is a $20 per-child fee. Pre-registration is required by Tuesday, Nov. 15, at noon. Click here to register online.
