Wilton artists observe color

Three work of three Wilton artists — Ruth Ipe, Leslie Concannon and Nancy McTague-Stock — will be part of the exhibition, Observations in Color, opening with a reception on Friday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the WALA Gallery in South Norwalk.

The Wilson Avenue Loft Artist’s community of well-established artists devotes its attention to color, showcasing a unified theme of diverse observations for this show. Interpretations in abstract and realistic painting genres, drawing, printmaking, sculpture in found objects and mixed media, photography, jewelry and mixed media works on paper and canvas are integrated in both the curated gallery exhibition and individual studio visits.

In addition to the opening, the WALA group will have its annual Pre-Holiday Sale with Open Studios on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 7-8, from 11 to 4. Individual studios accept credit cards, cash and personal checks with identification for sales.

The gallery and studios are on the second floor of  225 Wilson Avenue. Parking is off of Ely Avenue. For GPS, enter 372 Ely Avenue, Norwalk.
